A. To determine if our environment is right for you, an assessment is completed by our trained professional nurse and a medical report is obtained from your physician. If the medical assessments meet the long term care criteria, then we will work with you to facilitate your admission.
A. Yes. Bow View Manor works in partnership with AHS. There are both Private Choice Care and funded beds available within Bow View Manor. There is a lengthy waitlist within Bow View Manor for a funded bed, as such it is the resident/family responsibility to work with and confirm waitlist with AHS Transition Services.
A. No, this is the responsibility of the resident. If needed, we can assist with taxi, handibus and companion arrangements.
A. No, electric scooters and electric wheelchairs can be utilized outside the property, however not within the Bow View Manor Property.
A. Yes, this is a smoke free Manor. Smoking is not permitted on the property.
A. Yes, visiting pets are welcome, but they may not reside within the building.
